Thread tracking is the core feature of ChanTracker. Monitor multiple threads simultaneously and never miss important updates.

⚠️ 404 Prevention & Thread Status
ChanTracker automatically monitors threads for 404 risk and can alert you when threads are about to die. Advanced algorithms help predict thread lifespan.
You always see the current status of each thread: Active, Archived, Deleted or Closed. If a thread is not active, a direct link to view it on 4plebs is provided.

ChanTracker offers two ways to download media: bulk downloads from the extension and individual download buttons on each file. Choose what works best for your workflow.

✨ Custom Highlighted Words
Configure custom words/phrases to track and highlight in thread statistics. Each word can have different occurrence ranges with custom messages and colors. This feature is optional and can be enabled from Settings.
- Up to 20 custom words per user
- Import/export your configuration as JSON files
- Words are highlighted in thread stats when you enter a thread

💡 How to use Custom Words:
- Word/Phrase: The text to search for (case-insensitive)
- Whole Word Only: Match complete words only (e.g., "NEET" won't match "NEETING")
- Regex: Use regular expressions for advanced patterns (see more or ask ChatGPT if you dare)
- Ranges: Define different messages for different occurrence counts
- Color: Border color for the word in statistics display

A visual, physics-based node graph showing exactly who is replying to whom. Map out argument chains, see the most quoted posts, and understand thread topology at a glance.
How to Enable & Use:
- Go to Extension Settings and check "Enable Combat Tree visualization" (disabled by default).
- When browsing a 4chan thread, look for the floating button in the top right corner.
- Click it to load the relationships as an interactive node graph.
- Drag and zoom nodes, click to navigate directly to comments in the thread, or take a screenshot of the entire combat tree map!
🔮 Mistic Suite (Tarot & Divination)
Tap into the ether. Our brand new, experimental Client-Side AI for digression and divination runs entirely locally on your machine.
Features & Usage:
- Active by default: Open any previously saved thread in your tracker and click the Tools button.
- Thread Destiny Card: Scroll down to reveal a unique Tarot destiny card generated for the thread.
- Gematria Resonance: View the numerological values and esoteric significance of the thread's topic.
- The Oracle (Local AI): Click the button to consult the Oracle.
Note: Must be enabled in settings. Downloads a local AI model in your browser. Performance depends heavily on your hardware.

- • Make sure you're on a thread page, not the catalog
🔑 License key not working
- • Copy the entire license key from the email (including dashes)
- • Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the key
- • Try refreshing the extension popup and entering the key again
- • Check that your internet connection is working
💾 Downloads not working
- • Make sure Chrome can access your downloads folder
- • Check that the thread still exists (hasn't 404'd)
- • Try downloading individual files first
- • Large threads might take a while - be patient!

Yes! ChanTracker doesn't collect personal data, doesn't track your browsing, and only communicates with our servers for license validation. Check our privacy policy for details.
❓ Will this get me banned from 4chan?
No. ChanTracker works entirely in your browser and doesn't interact with 4chan's servers in any way that violates their terms. It's just a glorified bookmarking tool with superpowers.
❓ Can I use my license on multiple devices?
Yes! Each license works on up to 3 devices. If you need more, contact us and we'll sort something out.
